Treasurer's Report

PJM reported that there are currently 41 members with a Credit Balance of approx. £1000

Climbfest : takings for T-shirts were high which has increased the balance

PJM said that in future t-shirts could be paid in advance out of club funds , about £500, and requested suggestions for spending the club balance

AF suggested that any club members could submit a request for a 50euro donation for training. Examples: REC course, Navigation, self-rescue, escape belay etc

VS suggested hiring a Marquee for the Climbfest , agreed by all. Possible suggestion to MI that they purchase a Marquee to be hired by clubs for events.

If a generator could be provided, a guest speaker might also be a good addition.

Weekly Meets & Website Forum

All agreed that the Forum is proving a success, backed up by Facebook Page.

All agreed that informal weekly meets being organized through the Forum are proving successful . It was agreed that a monthly meets list would be put together similar to last year. It was noted that the Burren/ Muckross meets failed, as perhaps a longer weekend is needed, possibly Easter.

Climbfest 2011

It was suggested that Online Registration would help organization and T-shirt sizes etc. Also several teams could do shifts for Registration at the site.

A Climbfest 2012 Meeting will be held at the Christmas Party Meet to be held in Malin Beg in January 2012.

A suitable camp-site will be scouted for the same weekend.

A possible suggestion is to base in Malinbeg Hostel and put marquee up beside this
