The Club will affiliate to the Mountaineering Council of Ireland - costs to be met from increased subs. Insurance under the MCI/BMC scheme will be investigated but individual members can pay extra to the MCI once affiliated.

Constitution Pete Smith will write a draft constitution to be approved by the Club executive

Avalanche Transponders The proposal that the Club should purchase avalanche transponders was vetoed

Winter meets list. Pete Smith will put together a Winter meets list. This will include visits to walls, slide shows, video evenings, workshops etc. The Club will not arrange a trip out of Ireland. Members can do this themselves.

Next Summer It was eventually agreed that this Summer's meets list had been as successful as could be hoped. Next year's will therefore follow a similar pattern.

Youth and children The Club will have, as one of its aims, the further dissemination of knowledge and understanding of climbing amongst the young of the North-West. Frankie McCloskey will be the Club's Youth Officer and will be backed wholeheartedly in this role by the Club. There will be no age limit for joining the Club. When parents bring children to Club meets, they take full responsibility for their welfare.
