Frankie Climbing at Lough Barra Donegal

Monday 1st May 2000.

Myself and Alan Manning went to Bingorm West to do Tarquin'sGroove, the best Hard-Severe in Ireland by far. We had a great day and the weather was magnificent and we even got to the top. We did a pitch up to the 4 b step, another pitch to the bottom of the Black Wall, had a rest at the Rowan tree did the third pitch as usual. Then we did the last two pitches as one and this is probably better than doing it in 2 pitches. Anyway, the crack was good and we went for a few pints afterwards. It's hard to beat the high rock followed by the High stool! It's up to the bar and ask for more, We're the bar-room mountaineers.
