Friday 7th April 2000
Myself and Alan Manning went to Bealach Gaoithe. We went up left from the car-park and up into the big Corrie with the lakes. From there we went up over the top of Bearnas Buttress and on to the tops. We came down a steep wee gully and climbed up another Gully past Rocky Gap Crag then back down to the lake at the bottom of Sliabh Sneachta. We went from the lake to the top in 20 minutes. For a round trip we went down towards the waterfall where you descend from the climbs at Lough Barra, followed this down and crossed underneath all the rock climbs so Alan could get a look at them. Up the road to the van again. That was a Grand day begob sor.
