Sally Cook at Port a Doris 17th June 2000

I knew Jason was talented, but I didn't realise that he was omnipresent! Somehow, he managed to be at Port a Dorais on June 17th (even though he claims to have been at Fairhead that day), and I have the photographs to prove it.

Just for the record, Billy (Anthea) led Juggernaut VD, Scarcasm S [pic] and Micro Wedge HS [pic] with Ian (recovering from a broken hand) and myself (still too cowardly to consider leading) following.

Donna and Jason arrived in time for a leisurely lunch before taking a stroll up Crackatoa S [pic] and Storm Bringer HS [pic]. Cassie (my dog) considered a solo ascent but bottled out at the last moment. The day came to an abrupt end when we had to make a tactical retreat to the pub, to avoid the midgies who were out in force and who seemed to favour Donna as a particular treat. Shame, just as I was about to lead my first route (no, I'm lying).
